I won't give names but I've totally lost my patience with someone who keeps posting journals subtly bashing their ex who left them, when the ex left them because they were abusive and almost drove them to suicide. As in, they attempted and a friend finding them was the only thing that kept them from dying
this is someone who, when their boyfriend told them "I'm feeling suicidal" responded with "but what would people think of me if my boyfriend commit suicide?" This is someone who thinks any time they don't get what they want, the silent treatment is the best approach. The silent treatment is one of the more extreme forms of emotional abuse, btw, you can look it up. This is someone who monitored their boyfriend's life so much that they'd constantly complain their body type wasn't their ideal preference while they themselves were an unhealthy weight and did nothing about it, someone who would throw a fit if their boyfriend made any characters that their characters couldn't fuck (so females were off limits for example)
And when their ex left and someone told them it was because of them, they had the audacity to claim it was all lies and slander and that this person was leading a secret double life when in actuality they only had a secret account to have the freedom to make their own characters and explore their own fetishes they weren't allowed to have.
And I know it's not lies, neither did the other person who informed them what happened, because we've seen it for ourselves first hand and we couldn't STAND IT.
And I find out a year later this person is STILL bashing them in their journals to get pity points from people because any problem they have is just another reason to whine and complain and get buttpats on FA
I was silent for a long time but I finally cracked and sent them a note explaining the entire situation because I'm sick of them thinking this person just ran away because he was cheating or had a secret life or whatever other paranoid ridiculous bullshit they want to excuse so they don't have to blame themselves.

they deserve to know their ex tried to hang himself in their closet to get away from them, and not that it was a secret double life thing
but now he's just this empty shell of hopelessness and negativity and defeatism and it's so heartbreaking
