Was my first full year of streaming, which has certainly been a thing. It definitely isn't what I expected to be doing with my life, but now I really can't imagine doing anything else. Be exciting to see where it leads me.
Been a year of ups+downs besides - didn't really start out the best year for my mental health. And I lost my grandmother to a long fight with dementia in June, which certainly reduced the number of spoons I had to play with for the year, especially holidays.
On the upside, my wife + I went to PAX West/Victoria BC for our honeymoon which was certainly amazing. And MFF was a welcome relief at the end of the year [and I met more stream peeps this year than I think I have all years prior combined]. And I've already plans for stuff for this year, so... things are looking up.
2019 AdministriviaBiggest change for 2019 is I have a PATREON now. So if you want access to extra stuff like sketches + discounts + such or if you just wanna support my art, consider pledging. Even if it's just a dollar every little bit helps me keep making all this + I'd be super super grateful.
Streams Couple changes, schedule is remaining the same [Tues/Thurs 7-11pm CST] but prices and slots are changing a bit. Base price is now $20, up from $15, though for the time being all the add-ons [backgrounds/extra characters] are the same price. Slots are also going to be SEQUENTIAL, I'll open the first slot for takers + then the next slot only after I finish the first, this way late comers get a chance at grabbing one. If multiple people want a single slot I'll roll a die for it. I may add a fourth slot in the future, but that all depends on if I think I can offer quality at speed.
Also, gonna try to make monthly Request streams a thing, probably on a Sunday. Not guaranteeing when this'll start or in what form, but it is definitely something I'd like to do more often. Same with adding a greater variety of bonus streams - comic work/video games/etc.
CommissionsWhile in the past I was 'always open' for commissions, this really doesn't work if I'm not proactive about it. So in a effort to be my transparent, I'm going to open for 5 off-stream commissions this month + see how it goes. If you'd like a slot please note me about what you'd like + I'll get back to you.
