If someone is transmale or transfemale, fine. If someone is intersexed, fine. If someone is non-binary, fine. But animals, and by extension furries, can be hermaphrodites. They're found in the wild (check out herm lobsters, they're rad).
On the topic of, 'but it can be a slur...'. It's only a slur if it's being used as a slur. Furry is frequently used as a slur, but we still use that term. So, yeah.
My OC (several in fact) are hermaphrodites. That isn't going to change.
