Once more into the breeches, dear friends!
I've been brainstorming a helluvalot of ideas for my stories to come and I'm quite pleased with what I've come up with. Granted, I don't see an end in site, but perhaps that's a good thing.
The stories to come may be shorter than their predecessors, but that just means I'll have an easier time of posting new ones on time.
And, if I ever run out of things to do with this one, I'll break out my backup storyline, one involving my take on the world of Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon. It's less realistic and more anime-like than the story I'm doing right now, but it's an interesting concept to play with.

If what you are trying to write is too much at odds with who you are, then you will bog down and never finish. On the other hand, staying away from writing about things just because you are uncomfortable with them will restrict your growth as a writer.
Ah, just write the word the people read, let future generations think what they want.
