Hello,
I apologize for any inconvenience (signature saying) but I wouldn't say this unless I was in a situation that needed some support. For those who don't know, I'm currently pursuing my Master's Degree in English and Humanities as a graduate student. I'm on my last semester and expected to graduated by the end of Summer but since the Spring semester is short, the tuition is higher than expected.
For that reason, I was hoping to get a small start-up to elevate the financial-tension by way of charity-donations if possible. To that end, I've (regrettably) made a Patreon through I wanted to avoid doing so as I don't like attention or "sympathy." I also don't have much to offer but if anyone can donate whatever they can, it would be greatly appreciated it; even if you can't donate any money I'd be happy with people spreading the word out as the link is provided below here.
The only thing I can offer is some of my writing, poetry or short-story, as well as a short Thank-You note (as the lower tier incentive). I have a few examples of my writing in the gallery but I'll include some more relatively soon since I'm looking to publish a small book of poetry and short-stories on Amazon. I would appreciate if anyone could read some of these examples and give some constructive criticism as much as possible. The theme of my book will be "seasonal" so some of the poems/stories will have a Fall theme like Halloween for example. I hope you'll enjoy them.
