Recovering, Rewrites, and Reminiscing

These past two weeks I've learned a really valuable lesson:
always back your files up.
after several years of pressing on, dealing with my abusive gaming habits, and overall dealing with my neglect, my computer is now starting to crap out. thank fully, nothing is truly lost. but the process of me recovering all my past stories and such is very time consuming. and I hope I don't miss any of them at all. Still, it's going to take me a while before I get back on my feet Computer wise. so I'm going to start saving up and hopefully get enough money in the near future.
on the bright side though, it was oddly enough a fun time for me. I got to look back to a lot of my old stories I've written way back when I started Deviant art. and that was 10 years ago to this very month.
Well, technically, I had another account a few years back that I used. I tried going back to it a while ago. but I think I lost the password to it...and the email account. back then, the idea of writing bondage smut and sex fics was unheard of for me. Hell, I was writing in scripts and ideas of manga ideas. I even still have the scripts ( my god they were bad)
But in the spirit of how we like to rerelease and re-use ideas. I think some of my old stories demand rewrites. and I've been looking at my earliest works, spotting any that spark any interest. that and I've been looking at text-base adventure games and really thinking of giving those a shot once I get a better computer for programming and all.
2019 is shaping out to be a weird year. a very tough one...but wierd none the less.
