The discord would be intended for more serious, professional furry artists and content creators (writers, musicians, dealers etc). For example people who have some level of a career creating for the furry fandom. (Even if it's like a paid part time hobby that your active in, or looking to become more career like!)
The purpose would be to have a sort of community for us, so we can bounce ideas off each other, get advice and feedback from other creators and whatnot!
I guess lemme know what you all think? :D
That, and if I do make it I will need mods. So keep that in mind as well!

I'd also suggest keeping it kinda small and focused if possible. I've found a number of discords have ballooned into chaos and been hard to follow so after a while I tend to just abandon them, they bloat into having channels for everything under the sun and it all just gets lost.
One suggestion I might make?
While a message board like what one sees with Discord is ideal, what about a Maker's Meet where everyone can simply meet once every second Wednesday and every third Saturday- or some such thing? More of a social group for Makers, if that makes sense?
Once a month, one person presents a brief demo during a broadcast and then everyone can watch and ask questions afterwords. I use an online meeting service in my business and you are welcome to use that after 5:00PM everyday. If we can all get together and contribute a bit, it could be like a food potluck event, but a feast of ideas instead of food. Everyone brings a dish they know how to make and shares it with others.
(My favorite dish to bring is chips and sodas, lol.)
But seriously, I might do a brief presentation on customer service and how to avoid ticking off customers- and when to walk away from toxic customers too.
Someone else might be able to discuss how to build awesome heads for suits, etc. Each month a different Maker and a different subject from a different field is presented. Writers, artists, and suit makers have such widely varying experiences,it would be great to learn from all.
For instance, I am recruiting voice talent for a Second Life movie I want to make. That would be something cool to talk about, if you think people might be interested.
It's a suggestion of course- may not be where you want to head. But I think a semi-closed community of Makers would be awesome. When creative people get together, amazing things can happen.
