Slow uploads

Hey guys, gals and non-binary pals,
So I apologize that my uploading here has been basically non-existent. For about a month now I've been dealing with extremely slow upload speeds and random disconnects. The upload speeds being the biggest issue since it's so slow that most attempts to post things time out before they can get through and I've had to suffice with small twitter posts and sending things through dropbox. We had someone sent to check the area only to have them say there was no issue. We called about it again, had someone come in to check our line and modem only to be told that NOW there might be an area issue. We were given a general time frame of about a week for these fixes but we might consider switching providers if things don't improve within two weeks.
If it does come to that then I might make do with throwing up a journal or two with dropbox links just to let everyone know I'm not dead. buuuuut that's it. No other real updates other than that.
Stay cute my dudes :o

Right now I'm paying about 70 dollars a month to Tek Savvy for 25 Mbps DSL and Home phone with Unlimited downloading and its doing us rather well, interuptions are rare and I get most of the speed i pay for except when theres the occasional hic-up (The last one was a couple months ago and worst that happened is my speeds dropped down to 15 mbps)
While the upload speeds of most providers aren't anything to brag home about, Most Tek Savvy DSL packages come with 10 mbps upload (1.25 MB/s). It gets the job done for people like me who rarely upload large files. The largest thing I uploaded recently was my entire porn stash to One Drive to sync it with my laptop, which resulted in a nearly 3GB upload from my desktop and then a 3GB download on my laptop.
How ever if your not Canadian or Not in a area that TekSavvy is available
Just look around and see whos available. These days its not that bad of an idea to go with Cable Internet but if your in a city and/or densly populated area, might be a good idea to go for a DSL connection since most companies in CAnada now rely on BELL's Fiber Network meaning you pretty much are gueretted Fiber to the Node (nearest "fiber/phone box" in your area. Mine is just down the street from me :) )
Sorry for the long post. I hope things work out for you and that you'll be able to get back to doing your usual stuff on the internet (including uploading more art and what not)
