it gives a lot body bases which can be turned into literally everything you want. i would look up for either bifrost bunny avatar, as sample, and trying to get someone who would make a special texture mod for you than looking for someone who would actually create a WHOLE new avatar "extra" for you tbh. not only is that a lot work (even textures is sure a lot but not as much as creating a whole 3D avatar of course) but a lot people i saw dont do that "extra" for single peoples. I know some people who *does* such commissions but only for "special kind" of "special" avatars...coz they build them together with thier own "Lego parts" (meaning they have a own creator for that and what i mean is sure not the avatar kind youre looking for).

So yea, better go for someone who would create a texture mod for a special avatar, those are easier to do AND find, just a friendly advice.

im in sl since 2006 and im just sain. its sure not "impossible" to find someone to do it but they are either VERY VERY expensive (no wonder...) or, as i said, they build special avatars with their lego stuff. Texture creators in the other hand are more existant and willing to mod/create texture mods for avatars they are specialised on. They are sure not "that" expansive compared with a actual avatar creator but they (if they are skilled) sure take some good money, just said, but again, they are sure worth it (for the most time) and easier to find. Next to this, it gives a lot good avatars in SL nowadays, you should maybe check the market first before you "really" wanna go for a "own special made avatar". you can even turn human avatars into furry ones if you buy the parts and texture mods for and the outcomes i saw (so far) are really great sometimes.


A small advice for a lot personal choises (and not only mine): D-O-N-T go with the "Kemono" avatar, it gives a lot people who dont like it (for a lot reasons, trust me, you will not be very welcome if you met some furrys...). IF you do, try to mod it that it really looks not anymore in the slightest like the "base"...

Do you happen to know or recommend any good artists that work with textures? Me and my friend are really new to SL, so we don't even know where to start looking for one...

as for people who does commissions i sadly cant tell. as for avatars, it depends what kind of avatars. Since i think you sure are looking for furry avatars (duh...) and i bet you might want your bunny in sl, i can only tell you some good bases you might should start with since i know a lot textures already does exist, as for people who would do your "own special texture mod", again, im sorry i duno. As sample i know someone who turned a human avatar into a mobian (sonic-like) avatar coz she can lols but she did it all her own, so again its kinda easy to change a base into (nearly) everything you want.

as for some "good" samples, i can say (BUT i cant say if people will texture mod them. i know it already GIVES such mods online but i duno if someone does those "active") some bases:
- "Maitreya - Lara" is a great female human body which you can mod into a furry pretty easy - but its pretty much "the good standart" and kinda expensive for a start. - Bifrost bunny is a furry bunny base which can also be changed into everything you might like and looks pretty cute. nowadays its pretty rare someone uses it and (if i listenn to my friend who uses it) its a bit hard to find actually "event" clothes for. still, as own honest opinion, it pretty cute. again, look around a bit, it gives a lot good bases but before you buy one you might should also check how "old" this avatar is (if possible) and if you get some good clothes for it since if its to old, you sure get a lot clothes but nothing new anymore, if its to new, they are mostly just very less clothes but maybe they will come out more for it.

That's one thing I was very concerned too, like... Lully have some pretty unique clothes... And I didn't want to lose her identity by wearing something else... She's a completely white bunny, pretty plain, it's her clothes who give her identity.

Plus, the strong body!

i think BODYwise its easy to get, clothes you might have to change or add our own that it comes "somewhat" close to the stuff you want but to tell it you right away, im not sure if you would get Lully 1:1 into SL. Able maybe yes but sure hard to do so.
