Not wanting to pay $5,000 for a YCH is fine.
What ISN'T fine is telling the artist that they could have saved your dead grandmother with that money.
Shaming an artist for an asking price using dead relatives is NOT OKAY. I will go down in flames saying it, I don't care. It makes you a dick. No artist deserves that being put on them by some stranger.
I don't care if I'm a dick for that opinion.
Like you said, people are just making a living. They don’t need people coming in and saying “well if I had this YCH money I could have saved my granny’s life!”

He did have 3 people saying “why would you do this” though. He didn’t care. Gotta get that sweet internet pity.
