Emergency Commissions: Update
6 years ago
Heya guys!
I gotta say, wow! I didn't expect such a massive turn out rate in the last few days! After posting the journal ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9057345/ ), a few of my friends helped me by broadcasting said journal through their journals. You guys heard and helped me out in a big way!
Took me the last few days to sort out all the notes and calculate all the payments needed for each commissions. While they are still coming in, I plan to send the first batch of invoices out on Monday. Already I'm hitting the target amount needed for rent. Any extra money shall be used to pay future billings I have. The offer will still be open until the end of the month. After that, I can start the schedule.
The schedule will start on the first of march and would be fairly simple.
First, I'll start sketching everything at once for a few days. In theory, it shouldn't take too long to get everything down.
======
Once all the sketches finish, the general scheduling will be like this:
Sunday - Free day
Monday - Commissions
Tuesday - Commissions
Wednesday - YCH/painted commissions/normal commissions
Thursday - Commissions
Friday - Commissions
Saturday - Free day
Commissions: These will be when I work on the emergency commissions. I'll try to do them within the order I receive them. The process, for those new to how I make the commissions, is simple: Sketch, Ink, Flat color, and shade. Once I finish the sketching phase, I send it to the commissioner for approval and to
make any major changes required or add notes on what needs to be added. Once approved, it goes to the ink phase. Once inked, it'll be showed for approval. Once approved, it'll be colored. This process repeats until the pictures are complete.
YCH/painted/normal commissions - These are commissions that I had done before the emergency commissions. I'll be doing these separately to keep things organized.
Free day - Allows me to take a break and prevent burnout. A burnt out artist can't draw, after all. :)
=====
Lastly, I like to thank the following people who have commissioned me so far . You guys are awesome!
