If an epilogue for the second book/arc in a series is set before the events of the first one, would that still be an epilogue or should it be labeled differently? I have a fan fic I've been doing and I'm currently finishing up the second arc of the story and one of the two epilogues I have is set before the events of the first story/arc.

I made up a word before I called it an inbeweenqeal when I was younger I would not be sure if there is a sure word for it for movies

If it's set before the main story idea it would be a prequel. An epilogue is what happens at the end of the book/arc in a series.
