If you could take a single item from any video game, what would it be, and why?

Hmm, that's a tough question.
Normally I would say the Hook/Claw shots from Zelda, but after watching that video about how impossible it would to use it, I think the better option would be the Water Tunic.
I mean, why not?

Beside normal pokemon species, what's your opinion on a pokemon hybrid like a Nidobit? (nidoking/rabbit hybrid)

I think hybrids are pretty cool.
I would still like the standard Pokemon better, but I've seen quite a few people show off hybrids before, and they aren't half bad~
