I'm usually not much of a graphics guy but it's somewhat a shame the game looks like Sun/Moon with higher resolution only. Would have liked a bigger jump from 3DS to Switch.

I don't know but Level-5 seems to somehow hit the anime aesthetic often better than what GameFreak does in Pokémon games. Their games look always like there is some extra effort and detail missing. Think of how the Pokémon games could bring the Sugimori artworks come to life. It's also a shame we still have no voice acting or more atmospheric world building in the games.
If you look at the Pokémon Gen 8 teaser, why are there no Pokémon at all interacting with the world? What we have are a few trainer characters standing at the side of a road maybe a Pokémon at someone's house. Shouldn't Pokémon following the trainer or more trainer customizations be like a plausible standard by now?
It's really feeling like GameFreak is always stepping one step backwards in various places and keeps walking on the same spot in others.

I can't wait for these games! I also can't wait for the legendaries reveal! SO MUCH HYPE!!
