I have no idea what's cool either, but new/current stuff I'm excited about is Dororo, Mob Psycho, The Promised Neverland, Spiderverse, and the webcomic SUPERPOSE
You have probably seen more horror movies than any film student.
Dororo is so good. It's tempting to spoil myself since it's an older manga, but I'm not going to.
Haven't heard of Promised Neverland, how is it? You reading or watching it?
Spiderverse was so fulfilling visually. Even though I don't read Marvel comics myself,
my husband is an avid fan so I know all the characters and stories just from him talking about them. xD
I've lost track of the webcomic scene. All the old ones I used to follow are dead. oTL
Dororo is a kid who takes care of a teen boy who's father sold his body to demons in exchange for power.
They go around killing demons to reclaim his humanity
A true film student would know better than to watch half the ones I do
I agree! I read a section of it years ago but I don't remember much, it wasn't my jam, it's much better now honestly. The Promised Neverland is a horror thing so probably much not your thing, but am watching not reading - all the stuff I've seen from people who have read is that we should watch the whole anime first to experience the tension properly
Same I'm not a huge super hero person but. Dang
Oh no that's the worst! I can recommend two hundred or so if you want XP
I need to catch up on anime before i attempt to delve into comics. xD
I want to watch mob psycho! but I tend to watch stuff with husband, so if he's not interested I tend to forget.
My attention spam is so short, I usually resort to youtube clickbait. xD

I can not handle zombies at all. Even Game of Thrones is too scary for me. xD

What're you into lately?
But yeah, my politics has to be served with a large dose of comedy!

Honestly I can't recommend Mob Psycho more, it's already one of my top anime ever
