maybe ... because sharks are rare in the fandom? and .. in my opinion ... because many people fear sharks more. Also I imagine an anthro shark more sporty and also as a "bad guy"

i think because all those teeth,and they are dangerous,dangerous animals are always more sexy grrr

Because muscles on them make em look like fleshy sculptures, eye candy that makes you wish you could lay on them and feel those buff thick muscles and yes, the grins :3

I think I see it as a sort of a defying expectations. You expect sharks to be dangerous unpleasant creatures, but in reality they can be quite gentle and only lash out when provoked. Well aside from some like bull and tiger sharks :P

I like anthro sharks because they can be fascinating to design and also interesting to make into sweet and kind characters. I have a few coming up who defy their rough exterior and hopefully will become likeable :)

They are sleek, dangerous and powerful. Certainly can make me blush.
