Because, according to that poll I made, most people aren't willing to pay very much at all. So, obviously, my work isn't worth as much to other people as it is to me. One person even used the "additional comments" field to make a request – and I mean, come on, really?

So I'm going to be a dick and only let my friends commission me. Prices will be negotiated with them rather than being set ahead of time, but will probably be the same as, or a bit lower than, what they used to be. I'm still taking art trade offers from friends (though nobody's ever taken me up on that either) so this essentially means they can just pay with money instead of art/writing/whatever.

I should be sorry I'm doing this. But I'm really not. I don't know why I'm not.
