Taking a break from the PhD work, ask me things
7 years ago
General
These days I have to prepare the slides for my finale defense, and it is really driving me mad. It's the final sprint before the end of the PhD, but it's getting very hard to stay focused.
I unfortunately haven't managed to draw anything lately because the work keeps me busy and in the evening or during weekends I only feel like sleeping or watching series because my brain is saturated =(
I must also admit that the events in France also affect my mood. And since I haven't been to a convention since last year, or taken new commissions for a while, it's a bit hard on the morale. You know, that feeling of being out of the fandom. I really cannot wait for all this to be done. The pressure has been too high for too long.
So tonight I'm taking a break. So, you have a question you've always wanted to ask me? There is a TF you'd like to see me draw one day? There are things and commission types you'd like me to do more when the PhD is finally over? Feel free to do it tonight! =) I'll try to answer them all
Take care and thank you for the warm support. I really need it these days.

As for my question, what got you interested in the fandom?
Now, this may be a tough one, but what is your favorite movie?
Your PhD is very important and I think you're managing quite well, even if it means less art in general until you finish. Dedication to higher education is very important, especially when/if you pay a lot to get it.
I am curious, do you have a favorite Pokemon?
Have you ever thought of making a world with your Kobold characters (if you haven't already started), something a bit different than the usual?
I think I'll develop it when the PhD is over! I'd like to do more for it!
Best of luck again with the PhD!
I'd always love to see you do a Predator/Yautja TF, or maybe some of the Zoanoids from the Guyver movies.
But keep drawing whatever gives you the most personal fulfilment!
As for the other question, I'd actually say it was when I decided I'd learn how to draw!
Now for my most important question. You into D&D at all?
Where’s somewhere you really want to go? And what’s at the top of your bucket list?
Took a mechanical pencil (which I still use today), and I started practicing!
Out of curiosity's sake, how did you decide on a kobold for your character?
Also, what sort of collabs or other, um, outside the comfort zone art projects you'd like to do eventually??
Also how do you memorize all the scientific words, they're so hard!
