Satanism?

I've actually seriously considering converting to Satanism. I've been reading alot about it and its not about sacrificing and stuff like that. There are many misconceptions. If I were to convert it would be to find a religion that is self rewarding. La Veyan Satanism, from what I read, is about being an individual, yourself as a 'god' figure. I've read alot of articles on the Church of Satan's website. I wouldnt be able to join till I'm 18 so theres still some time to think about it. I'm just curious asto if anyone here is a Satanist?

I agree with Skyler. If you go for that you are opening up yourself some things that can get pretty dangerous. Once you start down on that road, if you decide you don't like it, it's hard to get off of it. And not just you leaving but if you get involved in any kind of groups, they won't let you just leave it. I know someone who was deep into witchcraft and stuff like this and she said she had a very hard time getting out of it and it consumed her and left her drained. She can give you A LOT of info about this kind of thing if you ever wanted to hear the opinion of an ex-sorceress. It may have a different name from satanism but it's still related. She has seen a lot that most never see and it's scary.

Might aswell join scientology, just as dangerous maybe even worse, I'd seriously rethink your choice, you might regret it
