Feeling uneasy and like you're not good enough or what have you is perfectly normal when you're trying something new. When I first started writing - which I need to get back to doing - I was enthusiastic about it but quickly learned that I was making horrible, horrible mistakes. I think it's better for you to be uneasy and approach it at a slower pace; it'll help you make it a better story because you'll be keeping an eye out for errors.

There is never any harm in writing about the things you want to write about. You write a story, spend days editing it, then publish it because you want to. You don't owe anyone anything.

The first fan fiction I ever wrote made me feel very uneasy.
"Would anyone read this?" "Is this any good?" "Am I just wasting my time?"

Then a friend of mine reminded me that it doesn't matter what other people think. If someone reads it, hates it, and feels the need to tell me just how much he hated my story, then fuck him and everything he stands for with a rusty pitchfork.

The point is... do it because you want to. Not because you feel like you have to. If you don't want to do it, then don't do it. Simple as that.

I'm sure it would turn out wonderful, though. ^w^

Write it anyway! You want to write for you, not for everyone else. I'd say is pretty normal, but writing is such a fun craft, I wouldn't want you to not indulge out of doubt.

I felt the same way the first time i wrote an mlp and a loud house fanfic...it gets easier especially when you see and or talk to others doing the same thing.
