With Leafy's ref sheet done, I am officially done with my promised art queue (if you don't count ongoing group/personal projects and that one ink drawing for the nice Canadian that disappeared). Woo! That's a relief.
Now I only have to worry about every day anxieties like managing finances, work, interpersonal relationships, and dozens of other things. Wooooooo....
Anywho. I've decided for future "commission" work, in order to reduce anxiety/stress I'll probably go with a less formal route of doing stuff and letting people tip me via Ko-fi. I just don't think I'm in a place in my life right now that I can deal with the stresses of the formal commissioning process on a functional level. It's not an ideal or standard sort of arrangement, but I want to see if it can work for what I need right now.
For monetizing my work I think I need to focus less on getting paid to do something and more on finding a way to get paid for what I do.
>shrug< Life is weird. Let's see where it takes us.
As always: thank you for reading! Don't explode!

I hope everything works out the way you want it to!
Being commissioned is a big honor, and also a huge commitment. Being a responsible artist means being comfortable with your life and work schedule. We artists do tend toward perfectionism, and the pressure of needing to deliver something that meets a creator's exacting standards can be very stressful. Your day to day sketches and inks are wonderful work, and it's helped me to start getting back into an artistic groove again.
You are awesome.
I hope you keep it up!
