Befrore thinking about buying a drawing tablet ou should also try working traditional, as working with a tablet is rather different and hard to pull off.
I work in conjunction with both, which is whyy my art works out the wa it does.

Paper, as it is cheaper. It stops you from becoming frustrateed with the tablet before ou get used to do it normally.
I didnt touch my original tablet for months out of frustration before I got sai and learned to get used to it.

By tablet, do you mean mobile device, or hooked up to the PC?

Wacom is about the top of the line. I myself use an iPad Pro 11" for my art with ProCreate, because I got tired of how Windows PCs always managed to slow down over the course of a year, the non-stop issues with drivers, the headaches of the blue screen of death (do Windows PCs still have that?), etc.

OH, Apple did release a new iPad Air 10.5". Strange way to name it, but it IS compatible with the Apple Pencil 1. (The original Apple Pencil, not the new Apple Pencil.) That should hopefully suffice. A half of inch difference of screen space is really negligible. Although, one thing I just realised is....do you prefer P3 colour gamma, or would sRGB suffice? If sRGB suffices, then you're good to go. If not, then the iPad Pro 11" is the better way to go as THAT supports the wide colour gamma.
