Moving to Ireland! What now?
Okay so I'm typing this while I should have been asleep 3 hours ago.
I've got the job offer after the 6 hour in-person interview, and I'll be moving to Ireland in basically less than two months. There are a lot of strings attached though. There's no relocation package, the location of my workplace is secret due of security risks and I basically don't have anywhere to stay in Dublin. I'll have to Airbnb for around a month until I get some money before I can rent some single room flat or shared house/flat with someone.
What does this basically mean you ask?
I have to leave everything back in my old country. After April, I will no longer be able to make renders for an unspecified time until I find a place to live and rebuild my workstation. I can't really render stuff or play videogames on T440p, so rendering is completely out of option. Will also need to fix it. The HDD has several bad sectors and is failing and the screen needs to be replaced soon. I also won't have any data to work with. I'll pull all of my drives and send them off to a friend to hold them in storage for safekeeping, along with my NAS.
So more hardships to overcome, and basically just a notice that more downtime in the future will happen.
