Dear Final Fantasy XIV Community - A Small Rant

Enjoy what you all asked for. Stop hating it because it's a new concept. DRK being a Tank instead of a DPS, nobody panics. SAM being a DPS instead of a Tank, nobody panics. DANCER IS A DPS INSTEAD OF A HEALER, WELL THEN EVERYONE LOSES THEIR MINDS!
And then the topic of Viera and Ronso being gender locked? They did this for a reason.
How many male Viera are seen in FF12 or the FFTA series? None. Male Viera make it a point to make themselves invisible and not seen until mating season, where they collect the males from the community.
As far as the Ronso? They were not only introduced to compensate for the lack of male Viera, but the demand to play Ronso from the FFX fan base.
Dancer being a DPS? I love this. A Ranged DPS? We need one desperately. Everyone keeps screaming "WE NEED HEALERS!" or "WE NEED TANKS!" when the definite answer is actually the fact we don't.
We didn't need Gunbreaker, but we still got it because of the demand to play a class that uses Gunblade. We got Dancer because of the demand for it as well.
But out of all the DPS Roles, outside of Caster DPS, Ranged DPS you only had like... 2 options. NOT TO MENTION DANCER IS STILL A BUFFER. You use Dances to execute abilities (essentially making you a Ranged NIN), and those dances buff your party members. It's a win/win. You're still a support class but you're also DPS.
So, again. Let me repeat all this for the people in the back:
We got Blue Mage.
We got Viera.
We got Dancer.
We got Gunbreaker.
We got Ronso.
I have HAD it with the levels of salt that you guys are giving over the fact you begged Yoshi P for shit, got it, and YOU didn't like it.
If you're going to whine, piss, moan, and bitch over things that you actually asked for and got, then do us all a favor and stop asking for shit right now because your negativity is what's wrong with the community and why we, as a collective whole, can't have nice things.

Oh geez I was talking with my Free Company about this, Im like "Oh god, I bet the reddit is going to be pure chaos."
Because Ive seen shit tons of topics about Male Viera and Dancer Healer.
Im not FF expert, but even I knew that Male Bunnies were never going to happen. It never happened before, why would they break lore to do it now?
I saw Dancer....I'll admit, Im part of the Group dying for a 4th healer and wanted Dancer to be the next healer......Im very upset about that...BUT, at the same time I saw its move show casing, and I can't stay mad that its another dps, because it looks fun as fuck, plus Motha Fuckin Chakrams. Plus I can get behind the idea that its a New Ranged, we only had 2 of those with Bard and Machinist, so I can be happy for that.
I'm mature enough that I can take a partial victory here. Because even though Im a Wht Healer Main, I tank second as PLD, so I can be happy that we finally have a new Tank I can enjoy (Plus My boy Thancred with be Using!)
Plus FF finally has a BEAST RACE thats PLAYABLE. Not just another human with a few Creature Features, nope, a REAL BEAST RACE.
But I know there is also going to be alot of salt over it like "Why Couln't we get the Lupin!?" or "Why couldn't we get lizard/Dragon People?! What about the Bangaa!?" Which I can actually understand a little bit because we already had the Mithra, and the Miquote, plus they could have reused some assets that they already made instead of making a whole new one....but hey...Im cat bias, and FFX was my favorite....so this is nothing but a win for me
