The story of a fursuiter who had an opportunity crushed by their community- but why? Strawberry Cage, Intolerance, and Ultracompassion:

... Or weenies, I suppose.
Oh, never mind.
Example: "At its core, the lifestyle deals with personal identity. Including sexual identity. For many, fursonas serve as sexual avatars granting access to a new relationship network. High-end fursuits, popular twitter accounts, polished artwork, and social conformity can all be leveraged to improve one’s sexual status in this fluid hierarchy."
This is really backhanded. What you're saying, without explicitly saying it, is that people are buying popularity by spending money and repeating popular opinions. It basically accuses a lot of people in the fandom (without specifics) of being shallow purchasers of social and sexual success. In fact, this whole post is a long and entirely evidence-free list of gripes about lifestyle furries, a term which seems to include everyone in the fandom except wholly-apolitical and asocial artists.
Example 2: "Part of their motive for exclusion may be tied to sensitivity over identity issues, and poorly developed emotional boundaries. To render the entire world a safe territory for their private feelings, grains of discomfort must be eradicated. Anyone who registers as a blip on their radar is mercilessly un-personed."
This is so, so uncharitable. It's literally "People whom I disagree with on this issue may be motivated by being emotionally stunted!"
You're trying to present this as a sort of reasoned summary of a controversial thing that happened, but it feels like it's just a really long string of mean and one-sided assertions without evidence, and then it ends with "AND ANYWAY I DON'T NEED YOUR APPROVAL, I DO WHAT I WANT".
Basically, it feels like you're not even trying to convince people, or talk to people outside your own ingroup, which is rather ironic for a post complaining about ingroupy furries. It's just a blast of gripes against the sort of left-aligned, queer, SJW, sexual identity exploration stuff that makes up about 85% of this fandom.
It probably felt pretty satisfying, but it isn't rational argument. It's a raised middle finger in text form.
Claims lifestyle furs abused and harassed a fursuiter because they commited the CRIME of daring to talk with someone who doesnt have the 'right politics'

Hurr durr, dis post is evidence freee
Don't believe me? Pick an opinion that's really hurtful and toxic in conservative social circles, like "Abortion is a fundamental human right, and protesting it should be a crime" or "People who willingly served in the military or police force are violent psychopaths and should be barred from employment and shunned by society. Terrorist attacks against troops are justifiable self-defense."
Do you think those opinions would go down well at your local church group? Do you think the person who tells everyone they're going on the Bomb-The-Troops podcast is going to be well-received? Of course they wouldn't, but when trans people feel (justifiably) threatened by transphobic rhetoric and respond negatively, for the simple reason that their rights are a political football and they find themselves subject to transphobic harassment and violence all the goddamn time, they get labelled intolerant snowflakes who can't handle other opinions.
I don't mean that as an attack on you, or on conservatives - I'm just saying that these same bad armchair social-psych arguments could easily be turned around on any group, not just furries or SJWs or whatever. It only seems like a rational and fair summary if you aren't willing to imagine what it would sound like if it was applied to the beliefs and actions of people like you. Once you take a minute or two to really imagine how you and your social circles react to attacks on things that are really important to you, you realize how petty and spiteful it is.
Thats because they cant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymhBJERcts4
