Very true. Better done right then not at all. Longest I waited was a year for some art. It passed by pretty quickly with life keeping me busy. I only wish some artists kept in better touch with commissioners. I find that lacking a lot. Guess they got there money. so who cares? lol

Sometimes I need to be reminded not to stress about making time with my work. The problem is. I am already shoving in about 70 hours per week between two jobs, meetings, and college. Sometimes I don't get to my projects until like 3 - 5 days later.

Much agreed! So important to frequently update your commissioners. And I feel, personally, it's also important to not take on commissions if you know you're going to be having a rough time. Just unfair to commissioners by that point too.

That's a perfect advice and I hope other artists will take that to their hearts. And of course all the commissioners too, to not rush artists and to be patient.
