WAlking Dead Final Season - left me feeling content
6 years ago
No spoilers, this is just me saying how I feel; the final episode of the Walking Dead adventure game came out today, just finished playing it... and I am content.
Unlike some episodic adventure games, the final season had something they didn't; genuine investment in the true main character, Clementine. We protected and taught her as Lee in season 1, shaped her in season 2 whilst holding to what we as Lee taught her, season 3... eeh, the less said about "Walking Dead; the let-down", the better...
And in season 4; full circle, Clem becomes Lee and we teach AJ... to shoot a skunk-mullet hybrid wearing dickhead through the skull!
Whoops...
Its been a 75% of a good run for the series, and it was good to see the journey come to a close on a high note... for me, at least. I don't know how others have played it, and its early days to see if some of the end results I got were gotten by others. All I know is this; Walking Dead left me feeling content, and happy to have been part of Clem's journey.
Bye, Clem.
