I was going to wait to see if my doctor will let me start my HRT before I would write this. But seeing what day it is, I feel this may be the best time to say this. It took me a long time to come to a better understanding of myself. The right word on how to say it escape me, so I am just going to get right to the point. I am trans and it took me so long to come to understand that. I don't want to overload this journal with a whole lot of backstory, but this is something that has been nagging me since I was 13 years old. Just last month I came out to my family and they accepted. On the 18th I hope that I can start my HRT. I want to thank anyone who reads this, it took a little bit of time to even start writing this.
