A Good Boy Drinks His Last Beer.

Please take a moment to read this. Especially if you're an artist drawing for me
Ladies, gentlemen, friends.
It is with a heavy heart that I write you this message tonight.
Dogbomb, a wonderful person who was diagnosed with ALS at age 55 one year ago, has passed away.
But he did not die from ALS. No, he chose the bravest way out; He stared death in the face, and shook its hand. He kicked ALS in the nutsack and told it that it doesn't get to choose what the next chapter in his story is.
So he opted for assisted suicide, to make the end of his life be on his terms, of his own free will. You come tell me that isn't a whole new league of badassery!
But was he simply a dude who reached his 50s, got ALS, wrote some touchy-feely tweets and then passed away? No ladies and gentlemen, he was not!
Among his unbelievable work in ALS awareness, he also...
...Got several spinal taps solely to send to research labs in order to provide invaluable data in the hunt for a cure.
...Participated in experimental stem cell treatment for cure research
...Donated his body to UCI Medical School(He even wrote a note meant for the student(s) who'd work on his body during their studies. You can read it here: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D3Fu7PH.....0PA9.jpg:large )
...Raised awareness of ALS throughout our community and beyond, participating in 20+ mile long awareness marathons, in a fucking wheel-chair!
...Raised $100,000+ in donations for ALS research.
This guy was a trooper like no other. While facing certain doom at the hands of an incurable disease, he instead pretty did everything he possibly could to ensure that he did AS MUCH GOOD AS HE POSSIBLY COULD IN THIS WORLD before he finally said goodbye to his friends and family forever.
Go to his Twitter, here: https://twitter.com/dogbomb1 read his tweets, share some love, and let the people he left behind know that there's an entire planet of people out there who look up to him, not for his woes, but for his bravery and generosity.
Rest in Peace, Dogbomb. You were indeed a good boy; the best of boys.

So many amazing people we have sadly lost to ALS lately.
Stephen Hillenburg, Stephen Hawking, Now him.
I’ll raise a drink to him tonight after work.
