Maybe if you think of it for a few minutes before sleep your brain will make up something really cool. :)

I get writer's block too. Sometimes you have to sit on an idea and let it percolate. Other times it's best to write something down and then edit it a few times as the work progresses.

Yeah, I been chewing on this one for a week or so...and I want to get past it, which is part of the problem I think, thinking too hard lol

but its so tough!!

I know how you feel. I have a dozen or so stories I've started, but then stopped for one reason or another, then just... Didn't get back to them for a long time until recently.

What helped me, and this method may not work for you, is that I started scribbling out little snippets, mostly lewd ones, about five paragraphs worth, every few days. About two weeks later I suddenly opened about five unfinished RTF documents and cranked out endings to each of them. x3

Like I said, I dunno if that advice will help you, but it's what I did. My guess is that it got my juices flowing enough that I was able to keep the groove going. ^_^

Well...cant hurt to try! Write down something/anything and see what breaks loose kinda thing huh.

I get this a lot, sometimes because I have no ideas and other times because I have too many ideas and it's hard to pull them all together. I had a really hard time with this recently when I was starting chapter 2 of Looda F**ks the world. I had great characters, conflict, a clear path forward, but man it took a long time to pull it together in a reasonable way.

I recommend just writing anyway. They say "writing is thinking." Even if you end up deleting everything you wrote and doing it again, you'll learn what you want out of the story and come up with a few ideas to boot.

Sweet! Im def going to check that out when I get home. Im still in the world building/outline phase...i have issues with actually getting prose down. Im just trying to jot down everthing I think of seeing if it jars something loose.
