✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✦ *:・ﾟ✧ Since my last journal, it seems to me that there's a slight interest in streaming art but lukewarm responses as to whether Patreon would be a net positive or negative. Ko-Fi and Paypal.me seem to be fine to neutral at best though.
Ko-Fi (link) is my current favorite site for receiving tips and I highly prefer it above all else. It seems very straight-forward and easy to use, but it does take a cut from any donations that are made (at least in my experience?).
Paypal (link) is also pretty straight-forward in donations though it also can take a cut from any money sent (depending on friends/family vs goods/transactions? I'm not really sure).
Patreon (link) however seems to be a point of contention, but I have set one up anyways because of the apparent changes in prices/etc. going into effect this May. For the time being I'm going to use it as a monthly subscription for tips until if/when it proves itself to be a reliable/popular platform (such as, if I hit so much in a month I'll add in exclusive rewards per tier - otherwise I'm unsure of how well it'll go so I'm hesitant in going the "full mile" just for one person or two).
Picarto (link) seems to be the best place for streaming the kind of art that I do as they allow NSFW art while other streaming services do not. So I've gone ahead and set up my own account there, though I'm not sure what my streaming schedule should be just yet.
So yeah! This is my attempt at branching out and any additional advice is absolutely welcome <3
