I just received a call from my mother. She told me that my grandfather recently when to the hospital for chest pain. (kind of a big deal since heart problems are common for him) the took an X-ray of his chest and found a lot of "shadows" witch i guess is a medical term for suspicious growth or sum such. The took more detailed X-rays and are to have the results in within the next few days. But from what i understand, the "shadows" are quite possible a cancerous growth on the lower part of one of his lungs. And if that is what it is, and because of the way it looks to be formed, it is very unlikely the cancer started there. Which means that there would likely be more cancer that is already developed elsewhere in his body. We won't know for sure until they get the new tests in, but my mother (who is a nurse) is kind of expecting the worst. He is my mothers father and the only grandfather i have left and he is very dear to me. If you believe in a God, please pray for him and my family. If you aren't, then please just give us your best wishes and hopes. We need them now. Thank you to you all.
