Haha I'm not planning to stop posting here, I was just curious what reasons people have to use FA these days :3c, I also still discover someone new through FA despite me using it mostly just for posting my art ^^

FA is still a good place to find new artists and keep track of their portfolio in a decent quality - social media does not offer this classic portfolio system and it is harder to find artists or dig for older art you remember the artist once made - so stay (since I also liked the comm. you've made for me, so I followed you here)

I strongly agree with that portfolio thing. It's a good thing that I can just send someone link to my FA gallery, where everything is clear and sorted in one place(that's actually one of the reasons why I still use it ^^). And ofc I'm not leaving, just was curious about peoples opinions on this matter c:

Hmm I have more customers that come to me from twitter or "someone told me I should commission you" nowadays. But on the other hand it's nice to have this place where my art is nicely sorted and stuff ^^

Easier to keep up with than Twitter, but janky and I never use search/browse.

So much this :´D. I don't even remember when was the last time I actually searched for something here, but its defo easier to use FA when I want to have overall look at someone's work or art style :)

Haven't been since 2010 or so, yet I'm still lurking here. Shrugs. If you're doing better over at Twitter go for it.

Well, twitter is defo better for me when it comes to attracting new commissioners, but at the moment I still feel like maintaining both FA and twitter(and I post on weasyl too, out of habit)

It's one of the only places online where I actually feel safe... Okay that's a bit dramatic but... it's one of the only places I've been where people consistently treat each other with respect and kindness. I've met a lot of really good people through this site. Also there's the awesome art :D

I kinda get what you are trying to say... or I think :D, with call out hunts on people for something they did 5 years ago on twitter every other day, I can totally see why someone might not want to use it(or any other modern social media with some kind of furry base).

Tak ja som nevravela ze sem nechcem davat uz art, len som bola zvedava co ostatni povedia, ze preco oni sem este chodia chapes : D. Lebo ja mostly preto ze proste zvyk, ma to pre mna sentimentalnu hodnotu a tiez je tu vsetko pekne pohromade a lahko browsovatelna cela moja tvorba prakticky.

Now that's rare, but I think I can kinda understand why ^^
