Donations?

So I’ll be honest, 3D modeling is really expensive, and I have already spent alot of money getting all the models that I already have. I Just can’t spend money on getting new models anymore without it really getting me anywhere. That doesn’t mean I’m going to stop making renders, it’s just that they might look a bit more same-y then I would like.
I’m writing this to ask whether I should bother setting up some sort of donation system. If I did get donations it would mean that I could get new models without feeling back about my wallet, make more renders in general, and mabye I could make some special paid renders or something, but I don’t know. I don’t really like the idea of putting up paywalls for renders or high quality versions of them.
It really comes down to whether you all actually would donate, but even a small amount would be infinitely bigger than the amount I’ve had to spend at this point.

Would you be willing to accept commissions?

I didn’t really think of that. I’d both need to set enough of a guideline so that I would actually be able to make the scene (considering the modles I have) and figure out how the whole commissioning system works. I’ll get back to you on that. Hopefully though.

Without paywalling content, which can work for some artists, you could go for commissions and tips. I know many people on here have "tipjars" set up thru various websites where people can give small donations to support their favorite artists. Commissions are tougher, because then this hobby becomes an actual job. People are paying you for your work and suddenly there are deadlines and expectations. If you think you have the time to make that work then why not earn some money for what you're doing? Either way, keep up the good work, you do some of the best 3D rendered vore out there.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll probably look into both. Also I think thats cool how you are using source filmmaker for make vore.

I got into SFM for the same reason you made this post: money. SFM is free, while most other similar programs have costs. I simply couldn't (and still cannot) afford to put money into this hobby, so I used what I could. SFM is basically abandonware at this point, and the quality of models, renders, etc. is worse than just about anything else out there these days, but it's what I know and I'm sticking to it.
