Wearing a splint/brace now

DeviantArt The other day I had a... severe melt down. One I'm actually scared of myself for. (PMDD really fricked with my mind).
What had caused the melt down was when I started to do art, my whole arm was going numb/felt tingly. It had been doing a bit of that off and on for a while now, but now it's almost constant.
My brain, for whatever reason, thought it was because of my weight gain. So I went into a massive depression, rather hating myself about it all, until PMDD finally subsided. I was then able to think clearly and realize that no, it's not my weight. It's my ganglion cyst on my wrist! It has been growing steadily for over 2 years now, and I think it has gotten to a point where it's pressing on a nerve so much it's causing my hand and arm to be numb-ish and tingly, being very uncomfortable.
So I did more research on it and heard stories from other people... and ultimately, it's not worth it to get surgery to get it out, cuz it can come back within a week to a few years. YA NEVER KNOW!
The best way is hoping it will go away on its own, in which to help with that I can limit the movement of my wrist. So, I went to Walgreens last night and got a splint/brace.
I think it's making a difference in a different way. xD; It's making me not notice the tingliness and numbness too much, and I think it will help me learn to use my whole arm to draw with instead of using my wrist! I THINK I can still do art! I can pick up a pencil and write/draw, so I think that should be okay. >3>
I was going to test it out today, but gotta go to work soonish so will have to hold that off. Well, maybe it will be okay... xD I have 2 hours until work. HMMM.
Just gotta eat first!!
I have no idea if this will actually help with making the cyst go away, but I'm hoping so! Some people said it went away OVER NIGHT, while google says it can take 12-16 months. It's different for everyone, pretty much!
Coworker suggested acupuncture, and others have said to try to have an over supply of vitamin D. I'll have to think about it. >3>;

FA+

I'll be praying for your swift recovery. Stay well and safe. <3
I have to wear one because of tendinitis that happened from Drawing
and Janitor work at the same time. Hasn't gotten better the past 4 years
because I've been sweeping the last 4 years. This will change as of today, actually.
Hope that the brace can help your arm get a good bit of relief from the strain.
id reccomend going to a orthepedic and having it "drained"
thats what i did
