DON'T F*CKING INCLUDE THE WORD 'Persian' in the "Add a note" description of a PayPal transaction,

or it will be automatically flagged and your entire account will be restricted,

until you email them explaining in detail what the transaction is for.



I had to f*cking email PayPal the Bulbapedia page for Persian,

because 'Persian' is also a word used to describe an ethnic group that make up over half the population of Iran.

Think "Turkish" but "Persian".

It was surprisingly fun (and disgusting) to find out just how broadly discriminatory PayPal and Venmo's auto-detection keywords were.

I'm being much more low-key from now on since the FBI probably thinks I'm an Middle-Easterner from how often I write "Persian." >>
