Adopts? Enh. Commissions very yes. But it's understandable that trying to model someone else's character can get in the way of getting your modeling groove going again.

Adopts work best with fullbodies imo, but maybe you could do something like a digital sketch full body with a 3D bust as bonus art, kinda like some of the past auctions have had AB bonus cell-shaded art? Or maybe have 3D busts as part of the reference? Probably unpopular opinion, but...

My main problem with this is that modeling an entire full body is very time consuming and I'm not sure it'd end up being worth it. Same with the commissions! I love the idea, but I'm not confident enough in my topology to say that the models would actually be /usable/ for anything. Maybe I could do YCHs instead? And have them just as statues that I'd color and add hair to and such.

Tbh I am looking for someone to make 3D models to use with Daz3D. Would that be a possible thing for the future?

It might be if I make friends with a rigger! The thing is I'm really just a modeler and I'm terrible at rigging. I might be able to get a good mesh and good textures, but it'd just be like...a T-Pose character until someone rigged it.
