Post Xeno Wars Era
The galaxy was in a turmoil when the Xeno Wars ended. Many worlds were Xegar-formed and the cost of rebuilding them put a strain on the galactic economy both financial and trade wise. Most citizens fled to the core worlds of the Republic booming its homeless factor by billions, many colony ships were dispatched to establish new colonies in areas of the Core Worlds that weren't explored. However it wasn't enough to satisfy the demands of people. Soon senators from these worlds pleaded with the Galactic Senate and Royal Family to get resources to rebuild their worlds. However the resources were used up when they defeated the Xegars and any leftover resources were used up on Republic worlds closest to the Forbidden Territory. This angered senators who demanded relief efforts from the Galactic Senate. Unable to suit the demands the Galactic Senate shutdown shifting the ongoing demands to the Executive Branch. The Solanos Family; the longest Royal Family in Galactic History; tried to satisfy the ailing senators demands but it wasn't enough. Soon secession was proclaimed and many senators seceded from the Galactic Republic. Top senators like the Oakutaruian, Arrogosiian and Koruscian Senators seceded from the Republic and declared their area of space their own territory. This fractured the Republic from the greatest superpower in the galaxy down to a weaker territory on par with the smaller territories. To make it worse, the Garreous Sector Senators declared independence from the Republic and declared their area of space off limits to anyone effectively cutting off the Republic from the Northern sectors of the galaxy. With only Corporate Space and the Core Worlds remaining the Republic now named the Core Republic struggled in this new era called the Cold Era meaning no development was produced in this timeline.

Meanwhile as the Republic crumbled, the Oltanians went through an uprising in their own territory. While most Oltanians followed the traditions established by the Bertholdt Family, few Oltanians demanded to return to the old ways back when War was their dominant feature. This sparked insurrection in the Oltanian Territory. By the end of 2800 GRS a faction of Oltanians seceded from the Empire and formed the "New Oltanian Theocracy" founded by the Oltani Documents and run by a Council of Elders, these Oltanians followed the old ways prior to the Bertholdt Uprising. However this new faction couldn't survive on its own, being the only territory not connected by a hyperlane the new Oltanians were forced to trade with their former Territory in order to survive. Unlike the Republic's economy the Oltanian Economy flourished with technology during the Cold Era. They were able to rebuild worlds destroyed by the Xegars when they invaded the Oltanian Territory. However their navy wasn't as strong like the Republic's. Many of the Armadas used in the Xegar Wars were dismantled in order to provide resources to rebuild the empire. While they flourished they began to colonize new worlds found in the Arm of the galaxy thanks to the failing Aridian Territory.

Collapse of the Republic... Rebirth of the Confederacy
During the Cold Era, the Republic struggled to maintain its territory. When the Solanos Family stepped down from the Royal Family and the Rosario Family came into power, the Republic seemed to fall apart even further. The Rosario Family, a Crocodite Family was unskilled to succeed the Solanos Family who maintained order for nearly 200 GRS years. Unable to pull off the command the Solanos had the Rosario Family declared a galactic emergency on the Republic. This requested aid from all territories who can aid them in time of crisis. However no territory would open their borders nor offer support except the Oltanian Empire. The Oltanians sent ambassadors to Novalis to talk to the Rosario Family. They proposed they buy the Republic and in exchange gave them representation in their territory while also maintaining their ideology. The Rosario Family accepted the terms of the Oltanian Empire. By the end of 2900 GRS the Republic was converted from a failing territory into a successful territory supported by the Oltanians. Being provided with technology and resources the Oltanians renamed the Republic and themselves into Oltanian Confederacy. With Gorda City at its capital the Confederacy was able to quell the New Oltanian Theocracy and bring them back into their Confederacy. Meanwhile with the Oltanian's help the Republic was able to bring the Garreous, Koruscians and Oakutaruian Territories back into the former Republic territory. They were able to unite the galaxy under one flag. However many citizens didn't like the Oltanians taking over the Republic nor liked the new empire. However unlike in the Oltanian Territory, the citizens of the former Republic didn't riot nor protested. Eventually the Oltanians moved their capital to Shanksville where under a new leadership declared themselves the galactic superpower of the galaxy. No territory will be able to overcome them, with technology from the Oltanians and the navy power from the Republic, the Confederacy proved to be the dominant superpower in the galaxy.
