As a full time freelance artist, myself, I don't see it as a weakness to stay home with family as long as you are happy there. Sometimes I think about going back to my parents too, because i miss them lots. I think society puts too much pressure on people to move out when they are not ready. I say what Eisenheim said, follow your heart. If you need the support either financially or mentally from your parents, that's ok! If you like being on your own, that's ok too. I don't know about your country, but in the US, school is not necessary for artists unless you want to teach in a school. I think it's perfectly normal for people to be self taught, but if you like the school education system and like being around other artists, then go back to school. There are no set rules in this path, just what you want to do and your choices. You are your own person and your own boss, do what you think is right. If you are uncertain, there are poeple here to give advice and help. You can do this :)

i do not think to live with a family is a weakness, but my relationships with them are not the best.. they also don't help me now and even do not talk to me heh..
i think i'll do a lot of mistakes in this life, but it's better than blindly follow other peoples words (maybe?)

Mistakes make people stronger, never see it as a bad thing! Learn from life in order to make your best life you can. :) I am sorry to hear about your family, I'm sure it's hard. :( All I can suggest is maybe talk to them heart to heart and tell them how you feel (if you are comfortable with that). Sometimes just taking the first step towards healing hurt relationships is the hardest, especially if you do wish to see them again and miss them. I wish you the best on any path you choose and I think your art is wonderful and you will be successful and happy in life. It may be hard now but one day you will look back and see how far you've come. Good luck! We're all rooting for you.

I say do whatever you think is best, visiting family is good, but for me being on my own made me a much more sufficient and competent person, if you can go freelance safely and education isn't required for the kinds of jobs you want, then I say go for it! Try whatever you think will make you happiest and keep your options open ^^
