Ups and Downs

Things have been a little complicated lately. Good stuff, bad stuff, and stuff in between. I have a request for the last slot of the Running YCH, and after that I think I'm gonna close commissions and focus on my current projects until I get a handle on things.
Bad stuff: the day job has been super overwhelming lately. It feels like trying to dig yourself out from under a pile while people keep dumping more stuff on top.
Good stuff: I got me a boyfriend! It's been really great, but I've been struggling with balancing art and the overwhelming day job and the relationship. He's very supportive though and is gonna try and is gonna start helping me keep on track.
Stuff in between: I took on a few projects that were more complicated than I originally thought. Not that I'm complaining about the projects at all. Challenges are how we grow and learn, and I enjoy expanding my skill set. I'm just frustrated with myself because I wish growth and learning didn't take quite so long :/
So yeah, with the last Running Ych claimed, new commissions are closed for the moment. They should be back open pretty soon, alongside my long-promised new YCH, but for now I wanna focus what free time I have on the work that I've got.
