So... it's been over a year since I last posted a journal entry here.
My desktop PC was a relatively easy fix, under $200 to have a new power supply and GFX card fitted (as that was on the way out too) and has been back in business since the end of May last year.

However there have been later developments. My apartment that I had been living in for the past two years is being gutted out and refurbished. I moved out at the beginning of April and I'm temporarily living with my parents again, on Vancouver Island. Seeing as I doubt I'll find anywhere closer to Vancouver for under $600/month rent I'll be heading out to Calgary for a week in June, to explore the possibility of moving in with friends, for better job prospects as well as more affordable accommodation, not to mention future plans of being a homeowner and family man.

There will be more stories from me - and artwork commissioned by me - to come. It'll just be a while longer.
