New Year, More Stories
General
Well, I’m back.
Really, I never really left, just stopped posting. No big lofty reason why, just life. A lot’s happened these past 2 years, most of it good to be perfectly honest. I’ve been blessed. Since my last upload 3 years ago, I’ve gotten married, bought a house, adopted and lost a lovely dog to a preexisting condition, and adopted two more. I’ve also reached 3 years at my current job.
With the new year already a third gone, I’ve got some catching up to do, but I’m determined to make 2019 a writing success. What does that mean? Well, right now, that means posting stories. What stories? So glad you asked!

Upcoming Projects
A Mercenary Walks Into A Bar (working title)
Nothing ever happens in the wilderness mining town of Arkglow. After a shot-up starship lands in the midst of a blizzard, shepherd bartender Anna Mosen finds herself playing host to a mercenary who suddenly has nowhere else to go, and nothing better to do than waste her time. But despite his easy-going nature, Anna’s visitor seems to have brought trouble chasing after him...
--
Red And White In Blue (A Jace/Anna Alternate Universe)
After the suspicious death of her police captain father, Anna Mosen quits her job as a bartender and joins the capitol police force. Meanwhile, a jaded army lieutenant named Jace Taer leaves the military and starts a bar with his battle buddy in the far south mining town of Arkglow.
--
Angel With A Shotgun (A Jace/Anna Alternate Universe)
When Jace’s ship Guardian arrives back in Arkglow on autopilot, Anna’s world is turned upside-down overnight. Donning Jace’s left-behind cloak and vest, Anna goes in search of the bastards that took her mercenary from her.

In His Name
The jacket that nearly got him hanged was not one Dominik Raes had ever expected to put on again. When a neighboring nation smashed through their border, Dominik dutifully took up arms alongside those who saw him as nothing more than a mongrel, a half-breed. Drafted into the very army that cast his family out, he seeks to clear his slandered father’s name and give his family what they’ve lacked for so long: a home. A stunning victory carries his name to the king, but a summons to the capitol may not be all it seems. Joined by a castaway sergeant, Dominik must come to terms with a past he would rather forget.

Q: Why didn’t you mention Star Wars with your Jace/Anna stories?
A: This is actually something I’ve been grappling with for a while. Jace originated from a comment on one of Wielder’s fantastic Star Wars pieces, because I’m a writer and when I see something awesome I just want to join in. All the fun I’ve had since then I owe to Wielder, Koof1313, DJ_359 and many others. Fantastic creators, all of them.
The trick is, I realized that most of my writing didn’t depend on the Star Wars backdrop, and with some revisions I might have myself a fully-functional, stand-alone story. So, I’m going to give that a try. I may still write Star Wars stories, but this will be my main focus.
Q: Are you purging your gallery?
A: Nope, everything stays where it is for now. Should I decide to remove anything, I’ll be sure to let you fine folks know first.
Q: Will you be open for commissions again?
A: Sadly no, but if I get a good wind under my wings I should be able to bring my Patreon back online, which would include cameos and small request stories.
Q: Who the blazes is Dominik Raes?
A: More information will be forthcoming, but should you wish to see his first appearance, you can, here. (All credit to jodimest
