Mortal Kombat 11 Gauntlet Towers Tips
General
Heya buds. How are things going? I'm doing awesome there. Reason why was about yesterday ago or 2, while playing Mortal Kombat 11, I was able to at long last, after going through so much trouble, with determination reached up at the very peak, I have finally completed the Gauntlet Towers. In thus, finally unlocked the Fire God Liu Kang skin. Now for those who enjoyed this skin of Liu Kang due to the story mode or that you thought it was awesome, I'll be willing to give you tips and tricks to help you how to survive through 30 Stages of the Gauntlet Towers.
Now... before I begin, I just want to let you know that if you really want to go through all of the trouble, never hesitate to grind on any of the other Towers for any Konsumables that you seek or getting Konsumables from Krypt chests to find the ones that are suitable for you. For example, in case if worse comes to worse, I would have to prepare with the Gourd of the Eight Immortals which you can use the Elder Gas, Cyber Snare of which you can use the Cyber Net, and even Broken Quiver of which you can use the Stun Arrow, which they are useful to keep your opponent down and stunned for a while. Not to mention that if you have to deal with those that are harming you for too much, be prepared to use the Regenerator Konsumables. The ones that hits you too hard will definitely be highly reccomended to use the Hyper Focused Soul Regenerator Konsumable, of which you'll regenerate up to 100% health for 20 seconds. Now with that's out of the way... Let's get started. ^^
Stage 1: Elementary, My Dear
For this one, it's actually not that hard. You just simply have to learn the elemental mods of what they'll use, including the Optional Tower that has aura mods, and you should be fine there.
Stage 2: Kid's Korner
For this one, you're dealing with the children of Sonya and Jax, however this time, each of them are equipped with assits that will keep you having a hard time. So for this one, I reccomend that you arm yourself up with the Konsumables that will keep them stunned along with one to keep you healed up. Once you figured those out, then beating Cassie and Jacqui shouldn't be much of a hassle.
Stage 3: Moment of Opportunity
This one, you're facing Shao Kahn, of which he's very heavily armored and you gotta wait until he switches to Overpowered Fists, of which you can harm him, but don't let him harm you, otherwise, it'll hurt very much there. So for this one, make sure you have a Konsumable to regenerate your health, and you should be all right.
Stage 4: Mr. Hollywood
For this one, you will be facing lots of Stunt Double Johnny Cages of which not only he'll have the "real" Johnny Cage helping out the Stunt Doubles, but they will also have Curse Energy mods of which if you pick it up, it'll weaken you. Meanwhile, you'll face the real Johnny Cage of which, he'll get the Gift of Energy which toughens him up and an Energy Aura, which weakens you. Once again, it's not that hard. So once you are prepared through that, it's not a problem.
Stage 5: Watch Your Step
Now for this one, it involves facing opponents of which they have plenty of floor mods, of which it can give you trouble at times. Now some of those can't be affected by the Godstone, which nullifies the floor mods, so I don't suggest you using it that time because it won't be much use of it there since it only works on those that are completely on the floor rather than it'll disappear on the floor. Although in the 2nd one, it'll feature Kotal Kahn and his Energy Totem. So if you made it to the 2nd one, use the Lightstone to keep that totem away and you should be good to go.
Stage 6: Blood Bath
For this one, you're going through an entire endurance battles of the entire Tarkatan Army, or known as many Barakas. Now in case you don't want to get overwhelemed, be prepared to use only the Regernate Konsumable because most of them doesn't have much health despite that there are many of them. Although they'll have Overpowered Fists mod by the time they're getting weaker(although they'll get tougher for each one). Alongside, you'll also be facing their commander, Baraka as well. Now the catch is for this one, for each match, you have to finish it with a Brutality. This is actually pretty tricky there, so I suggest using a character that you're comfortable with that you can easily do a Brutality with. So unless you have plenty that you can use it with, The Klassic Brutality is the best option that you can do. Now if you didn't pull off a Brutality or messed it up in a match at the end, you can restart it and keep on trying until you got the Brutality down. It's tricky there, but as long as you know how to get used to Brutalities, you'll handle Baraka and his Tarkatan Army.
Stage 7: Tip Eht Fo Mottob
Ugh... This one... is my absolute least favorite stage of them all. Anyways, for this one, it's based off of the classic Mortal Kombat 1 game along with a secret fighter named Reptile. Now there are a couple of catches. In the first 2, you have to finish your opponent off with a Fatality, which is fine. However, the worse part is in the 3rd tower, you have to beat Scorpion and Sub-Zero with a Flawless Victory. Now to make matters worse, there is a poison gas mod of which it'll drain your health. So for this one, I reccomend that you arm yourself with Orb of the Dragon King(to give you a Fatal Blow as the start, but don't use it unless you believe the you're just about finished the 2nd of the team), along with Kytinn's Broken Wing of which it'll give you immunity to poison. Meanwhile, don't hesitate to equip a Konsumable to stun your opponent to make sure that your opponent doesn't get a chance that time. Once you got that tower done, the rest is in the clear for you on this stage against Reptile. Now to be fair, I had a hard time with it that I thought it was impossible since I have to get at least a Double Flawless until the patch came, which made the opponents weaker and it's down to 1 round, which works for wonders. So hope the patch helps you out escape from this stage.
Stage 8: Rocket Science
Now this one, you're dealing with lots of Black Dragon members along with the leader, Kano, but this time, with rocket mods involved. The only thing to take care of that is to use the A.M.S. mod, which nullifies the rockets, so once you use that, you should be fine to beat it.
Stage 9: Out On A Limb
Just when you thought you're done with Brutalities, well... you'll have to do it again for all of the matches, but this time, you gotta deal with all of the Skarlets with lots of mods that involves blood mods, which if you're not careful, it'll sap your health to your opponent, so to prepare yourself, you'll need to use Skarlet's Pure Blood Vial to protect yourself from the Blood mods, or use the Orb of Jatekka of which it'll protect you from getting that much damage. Now, once again, if you know how to do the brutalities, you should be fine.
Stage 10: Test Your Might Part 1
For this one, you're facing against Geras, but this time, not only his health is pretty high along with his damage, but he'll have his Fire Fists mod as well. Once you prepare with the Konsumables to keep him busy from doing too much damage along with a Regeneration Konsumable, he should be no problem to beat.
Stage 11: Chun Who?
In this one, it's based off of Mortal Kombat 2 along with one of the hidden fighters known as Jade. For this one, it's not a problem. Although, for one, you'll have to be ready when you face a team of Kano and Sonya in the 2nd tower though. So as long as you're prepared with Konsumables to get through that, it should be not a problem to reach to Jade and beat her.
Stage 12: Bi-Han
In this one, it's also based off of Mortal Kombat 2, but this time not only with one of the hidden fighters known as Noob-Saibot, but also it involves that you play as Scorpion for the first 2 towers and Sub-Zero in the last tower. Now for the 2nd one, it's tricky to handle due to the ice hail mod, but if you have the Cleansing Stone, then you should be able to nullify it and progress on. Although for the 2nd tower, you gotta finish your opponent off with a Fatality, which you should be fine there once you have at least a Cleansing Stone.
Stage 13: Toasty?
In this one, once more it's also based off of Mortal Kombat 2, but this time, not only with one of the hidden fighters known as Smoke, but you also have to deal with Elemental Fists mods along with Shao Kahn with the same mods as the one from Stage 3, along with that Smoke will have assists from Smoke and the Cyber Lin Kuei Ninjas. But as long as you're prepared to handle it and know what to do, you should be fine.
Stage 14: Fatal Mistake
Oh boy... This is my 2nd least favorite stage to deal with for an unfortunate reason. For this one, there are 8 towers with at least 2-3 opponents with each tower contains a random mod. Not only that, they are also armed with infinite Fatal Blows which it deals additional damage that it's almost instant death. The worst part is that for each tower, you gotta win your 2nd round out of the 3 rounds with a Fatal Blow. Now for this one, I highly reccomend you that you arm yourself with an Orb of the Dragon King for each tower since they last an entire tower. So unless you have enough of those Konsumables, you'll have to start grinding them from other Towers of Time or Krypt until you have enough to get through with it. Also it's best you prepare with plenty of Konsumables to make you invulnerable to which element you're at along with another Konsumable to hold your opponent down as well. If you believe you can handle the element without using an Konsumable to make you immune to which item, then equip yourself with plenty to keep your opponent at bay along with to heal yourself. Now when you're about to win your 2nd round victory out of the 3 rounds, make sure you use the Fatal Blow to get the job done for every single matches of the tower to get each tower done until you finished up all of the towers with each finishing with a Fatal Blow for every single match. If you messed up into getting a match victory with a Fatal Blow, you can always restart the match so that way you can keep on trying until you got it done. Lastly, be aware and be careful not to get caught into your opponent's Fatal Blow, otherwise, it'll get hurt. Fortunately, the elemental immune Konsumables will definitely protect you from the Fatal Blow. So once you have plenty, then you should be able to survive through this stage without having too much problems.
Stage 15: You're Too Slow
In this one, you'll be dealing with Kabal of which has a gift and curse of magic, which speeds and slows down whomever picks it up. The 2nd tower, you are extremely slow while your opponent is fast, so for this one, be ready to arm yourself with a Konsumable known as Seidan War Banner of which it'll make you immune to magic, in thus, making you fight normally. Also be ready to arm with a Konsumable to keep your opponent busy so that way, it'll help charge up the immunity magic Konsumable faster. Now for the catch, you have to beat your opponent, then give your opponent Mercy, then beat Kabal one more time, then finish him off with a Fatality. Now to explain how it works, you just have to be at medium distance while holding L2(or LB) while pressing down 3 times, then let go of L2(or LB) to give your opponent mercy. Once you got the hang of it, you'll be able to speed pass this stage.
Stage 16: Rainbow Kombat
For this one, it's based off of 2 hidden fighters known as Chameleon(male) and Khameleon(female). For this one though, you'll have to face 2 towers, of which you'll be facing against male ninjas and female ninjas from the past Mortal Kombat games to the current Mortal Kombat 11. Now each will have a couple of specific modifiers, of which you gotta be ready to arm yourself with the Konsumables in order to make it through. Once you're done with the 2, the other 2 towers will involve Chameleon and Khameleon, of which both of them are endurance rounds. So for those 2, you have to beat all of the male ninjas with the specific modifiers along with all of the female ninjas with the specific modifiers in one go. But fortunately, they are weaker than before. So once you're armed with plenty of Konsumables, including a Regeneration Konsumable, then you should be ready to survive through this stage.
Stage 17: Do You Feel Lucky?
For this one, you're facing off against all of the Outworld outlaws with their head honcho, Erron Black, but this time, it involves all of the Gifts and Curses. Fortunately, as long as you're prepared to overcome with plenty of Konsumables to handle through all of that, you should be fine on that you can even prove to him that there's no such thing as luck.
Stage 18: Group Hug
This one is somewhat pretty tough, but not too much. In this one, it's based off of Mortal Kombat 4 along with a hidden fighter known as Meat. Now for each tower, you'll have to land at least 5 Krushing Blows. Of course if you are good with the Krushing Blows, then you shouldn't have any problem. Make sure you're prepared to arm yourself with plenty in case of mods that will give you trouble.
Stage 19: Jump Around
In this one, you'll be facing against Raiden, but with lots of electric mods in the way. So for this one, it's best you arm yourself with at least a Godstone to stop the electric floor mod along with arming yourself with a Static Shield Generator to give you immunity to electric mods. Feel free to arm yourself with either a Konsumable to regenerate your health or a Konsumable to hold your opponent down, whichever you feel comfortable with so that way you can handle with this shocking stage.
Stage 20: Test Your Might Part 2
For this one, you face Geras once again, but this time, not only he's getting a lot tougher, but he's also armed with a Fire Fist mod and a Magic Missile mod. Now you can use the A.M.S. mod to nullify his magic missile, but sometimes it never hurts to do some experimenting. For instance, you can use a Tower Konsumable to deal more damage of which elemental mod that you use. So if you have at least a missile to do more damage with, then I suggest you use that along with a Tower Konsumable that matches the same element as that missile. Not to mention that you arm up with Prototype Electro-Rockets of which if it hits Geras, it'll shock him, causing him to mess up. Lastly, arm yourself up with a Hyper Regenerate Konsumable so that way in case if he comes close to finishing you, but not too close, then you should be able to handle this one.
Stage 21: Brain Wall
In this one, you're playing as Johnny Cage, but this time, you would understand that a Time Out victory can be helpful for this for a good reason. For this one, you gotta do as much damage to the Stunt Double as possible while avoiding the Panning Laser mod(my least favorite mod). Now to make sure the Stunt Double doesn't have the armor, best to equip yourself with Orb of the Dragon King because a Fatal Blow can and will definitely break the armor. Once the armor is broken, it'll never come back. Meanwhile, arm yourself with a Regenerate Konsumable so that way you don't lose to the Stunt Double in case if the Panning Laser is all over you. So all you have to do is make sure you have more than health than your opponent until the time is up. Once you got that figure out, then you should be able to make time with beating this stage.
Stage 22: LK-520
For this one, it's based off of a couple of new fighters, including one that appeared in Mortal Kombat 9 known as Cyber Sub-Zero and one that appeared in Mortal Kombat XL known as Triborg. So for this one, you're facing Frost of which she is armed with assists from the Cyber Lin Kuei ninjas such as Sektor, Cyrax, and Smoke. As long as you're prepared with the mods to keep Frost at bay without giving you a hard time along with a Regenerate Konsumable, you should be able to handle this stage well.
Stage 23: Slippery When Wet
For this one, it's not only based off of one of the hidden fighters from Mortal Kombat 3 known as Rain, but it's also based off of another ninja that never got his debut in a video game, but instead appeared in the comics known as Hydro. Of course you'll be facing Raiden and Sub-Zero with the mods of their own based off of Rain and Hydro. Now this might put you even more pressure than ever, especially with the assists of their own, but as long as you are equipped with Konsumables to keep your opponent down and busy along with a Focued Regernation Konsumable, you'll be able to handle through all of the pressure to beat both Rain and Hydro in this stage.
Stage 24: Rushdown
This one is actually not that hard. In this one, you have to beat Skarlet as fast as you can because she'll keep on regnerating her health to no end. Now to make it easier, arm yourself with Distilling Magma to give the Flame Mods that you use more powerful along with Napalm Missiles and Spires of Hellfire to damage your opponent even faster than ever for the first 2 towers. For the 3rd one, you'll have to arm yourself with Gourd of the Eight Immortals along with Skarlet's Pure Blood Vial and Orb of the Dragon King in order to make yourself invulnerable to Blood mods, hold your opponent down, and finish your opponent off quickly with a Fatal Blow as fast as possible to finish this 3rd tower. So once you know what to do, you'll finish it just as fast.
Stage 25: No Man's Land
In this one, you'll be dealing with the entire Special Forces fighters, but this time, with mods that involves warfare, including the orbital satellite mod. Now it's not that hard at first, but for the 2nd tower, you'll be dealing with 2 tag matches of which you gotta deal with Cassie and Jacqui with their own mods along with Jax and Sonya with their own mods as well. Now once again, you'll have to prepare with plenty of mods to keep your opponent busy along with a Hyper Focused Soul Regenerator so that way you can handle those 2 tag teams without much problem. Although the 2nd one might be a lot harder than the first, but should you stay focused without having too much problem, then you'll be able to survive through this stage.
Stage 26: Smash It, Brother!
Now for this one, it's based off of a popular game known as Super Smash Bros. series for a good reason. For this one, for each tower, you just have to win a match with a Fatal Blow just like from Stage 14. Now fortunately, there is one opponent for each tower with a mod or 2, however, Shinnok's Amulet will float around by, blocking any attacks that was hit by anyone, which is based off of a Smash Ball. As long as you armed up with Konsumables to keep him busy along with good timing not to hit Shinnok's Amulet, you'll be able to smash this stage.
Stage 27: Knife To A Gun Fight
For this one, you'll be facing the fighers that's using guns. Now make sure you arm up with at least a Regenerator Konsumable and plenty more to keep your opponents from using them cause from what I know, the damage from the guns from your opponents will deal a lot of damage. So as long as you keep your opponents from using those or avoiding the fire, then you shoule be able to handle those towers in this stage without any problem.
Stage 28: Kotal Kombat
In this one, you'll be facing Kotal Kahn and lots of them, but this time, armed with lots and lots of totem mods, even though in the first one, he'll equip with one with a fighter to team up that has the same element. Now it's highly reccomended that you arm up with a Lightstone Konsumable. Now I know you're thinking, "How come it'll work if the first totem won't be nullified?" Well it's because it's the only totem that will never be nullified since it'll make the Fatal Blows more lethal. The rest of the totems however will be completely nullified by the Lightstone. So as long as you can handle all of that, then you'll be able to topple this totem stage.
Stage 29: The Power Is Yours!
Now in this one, it's based off of an old cartoon that old fans recognize and love known as Captain Planet. For the first one, you'll be dealing with the fighters that are "Planeteers," of which they are armed with the element mods. Now make sure you'll be armed up with the Konsumables and a Lightstone as well to get one of the totems out of the way and you should be able to make it through. For the 2nd one, this time, arm yourself with a Cleansing Stone because it'll nullify all of the weather mods(except for the Earthquake mod) along with Konsumables that you are comfortable with to handle and beat "Kaptain." So once you get all of that, then you do have the power to beat that stage and make it to the last.
Stage 30: Test Your Might Finale
In this one, you'll face Geras one more time, this time, not only his health and offense are as toughest as ever, but he's also equipped with Fire Fist, Magic Missile, and Ice Totem mods. Now for this one, do almost the same as Stage 20, but this time, don't use any of the nullifying mods. Instead, use a Tower Konsumable of which it'll do more damage based off of which elemental Konsumable you use. Like for example, I used Distilling Magma with a Napalm Rocket and Prototype Electro-Rockets so that way he'll take more damage while burning and getting stunned from the shock. Lastly, equip yourself with a Hyper Focused Soul Regenerator and use it only if Geras was about close to beat you. Lastly, if you're near the ice wall, despite getting hit by a magic missile, if you're in the air, if he tries to combo you into the ice wall, freezing you in the process, the damage won't be as much, meaning the more hits you take from Geras while constantly frozen in the air, the less damage you'll take while you keep shooting out the rockets as much as you can until he eventually falls. Now once you handled and got all of that down, then give yourself a pat on the back for conquering the Gauntlet Towers along with earning your reward.
I hope all of the tips and strategies helped you out for the entire Gauntlet Towers in case you had a hard time there. So until then, I hope you buds have an awesome time there! (my tail wags) ^_^
Now... before I begin, I just want to let you know that if you really want to go through all of the trouble, never hesitate to grind on any of the other Towers for any Konsumables that you seek or getting Konsumables from Krypt chests to find the ones that are suitable for you.

That's a good thing for you there. After all, to prepare, you'll have to grind in other Towers of Time or you can dig for chests in the Krypt to see if you can find Konsumables to help you out there. =3
