I am always secretly waiting for someone to commission me like that when I actually open commissions
but I understand that people want their OCs drawn, that's why they're paying

but it's just easier and more entertaining for me haha
I assume my fan base would enjoy more fapping material than more of other people's OCs as well

like, 4 things for it to involve:

1. what pokemon (anthro obviously in this case)

2. what position

3. what fetish (with exception to the forbidden 3)

4. what is wanted to be seen PROMINENTLY

well the issue with asking too many questions on something that is mostly up to me to decide is that sometimes, things don't work

this would be a simple thing like, "hey I've never seen you draw Mewtwo, can I commission you to draw Mewtwo however you want" and maybe suggest a position and angle, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of rejections from my part would be because of incompatible angles and positions.

the other thing would be, are these for just human on anthro? I feel like adding other Pokemon or characters is just creeping into what a regular commission should be. People that would be interested in commissioning would most likely know that I prefer to draw pokephilia more than anything.

I'm just trying to find an outlet for some people's frustration shown on these polls. I know there are some people that would be willing to pay just to see certain pokemon, ones that I haven't drawn, or simply more of what I have already drawn.

this would be cheaper for a reason, not as much freedom as a regular commission would give you, but you're still paying for something you want.

I don't think commissions are worth it.

You can put yourself under a lot of pressure to meet deadlines and give the customers their money's worth.
And then there's the possibility that you'll get screwed over or lied to.

well that's the risk with commissions in general

I have done commissions in the past and haven't had an issue, I know how to work with deadlines and such
sure it's not as fun as drawing whenever you want but still.

but in the case of getting screwed over, at least it wouldn't be a total waste of my time since this isn't something I would probably never draw otherwise (like an OC), in this case I would get stuck with a piece of artwork that others would still enjoy, it was just moved up from the "eventually will get drawn" pile.

however I don't have an ETA as to when I'll be opening regular commissions, I'm hardly ever inspired to want to draw other people's OCs, but that's not to say that I haven't have had fun with some of them in the past.

that would be entirely up to my mood, but I think it would be fine so long as people aren't requesting cub or characters that look too young. I am very picky when it comes to incest drawings. The dialogue itself would probably be easier if the commissioner came up with it, unless I'm feeling really inspired.

The only real problem I see with doing this, is people aren't gonna wanna sink a lot of money into something they have little say over. It'd be like going to a burger place and 15$ for a Whopper (not the meal) from Burger King. When people sink a lot of money into something, they want more than just a typical "I wanna see this [insert character]".

On the plus side, if the commission price isn't a typical one, and is cheap enough to not hurt wallets, then it would be a bit better. The problem with this is, would the pay actually be worth it in the end? The reason I say cheap is cause essentially you're asking people to pay you just to suggest a character to be drawn (and one that isn't of their own design). That isn't exactly enticing or worth the money if you plan on charging 50$+ for it.

Now this could just be me seeing things from the bad side. This could simply be due to not being able to get a commission of my characters (which I love doing since it brings them life and I love seeing them drawn). However, this is also all my opinion and my view on it, from the perspective of what I've seen/heard. In the end dude, you do what you feel you must. I'll still be here watching your art :3

Don't get me wrong, I'm not ending OC commissions, this is just a different commission type that would be open always so long as slots are available. Whereas regular commissions open in episodes whenever I feel like it. The only reason I'm doing this is because it is apparent that people are a little desperate to see me finish these poll options to the point that they cheat on them, and the only other way to get them done is for them to be patient with me (VERY patient) or commission me (which I never open commissions).

I still haven't fully decided yet if this is even something I want to do, but for the most part people seem okay with this so long as it doesn't mean I won't ever open regular commissions ever again.

I was thinking more along the 20-30$ range (only on the premise that again, all the consumer is getting is suggesting a species/character already made) but it is your art and your time so that's your decision to make. I'm sure you'll have success either way, your art is awesome :3

Ah, I see. I feel that would be a major concern most people have, like with YCH and Patreon and such. If you still plan to take normal commissions in addition to this then I see no downside to it. Also I understand completely your statement about the cheaters. People have no patience at all and it's frustrating x.x
