So every now and again I'll get a note here on FA or elsewhere asking if I'm willing to sell one of my characters, especially ones that I have adopted from another artist. Normally these individuals go about their day after I politely decline their offer, but other times they'll take to either pressuring me to accept their offer or straight-up telling me that they're going to take my character anyways (whether outright taking the character whole or designing a direct rip-off).

I recently received a note here on FA asking me if I was willing to sell one of my adopted characters. After I politely let them know that my character was not for sell and is very much loved and in good use by me, they tried to offer me money. Again I told them no thank you, and their response to me was that they were going to use my character anyways.

Of course the shouts on their profile is full of people this person has seemingly harassed and they are now banned from FA, but I figured I should make a journal about this anyways.

My characters are not and will not be for sale.

Unless I specifically make a journal or submission here on FA/Twitter about selling one or more of my characters, please don't ask - and especially don't try pressuring me or threatening me when I tell you politely "no."

Also I would appreciate it that I am explicitly asked beforehand if anyone wants to or is requested to draw one of my characters, mostly to avoid these types of situations where someone is effectively stealing my character and/or getting art of my character in order to harass me.
