People like this are why I put an obvious watermark on a lot of my characters when I post references of them, stating who they belong to.

Those are the fucking worst. I had someone email me once telling me they had already been using my character but they wanted to "do the right thing" and ask me permission. Obviously I said no, and I'm completely confident they're still using him anyway, but I never got their usernames (their email was just their real name) so I can't really do anything about it. Fucking sucks

I just had someone like this say the exact same thing a day or two ago. It actually might be the same person (they're banned now?).

Like just make your own character or legit buy one instead of harassing and stealing from people :/
