Man, that's such a shame. I never really knew him personally, but it's always sad when one of our own passes.

That's so very true. I had a mixed experience with him when I commissioned him, but his artwork was always top notch!

I think I met him, once, at a confurance. And we used to share space in various Genus and Furrlough comics. I'm really bummed. One of his journals, written 4 months ago, said he had between 6 months and two years left. It works fast sometimes.

I actually hadn't been watching him for quite some time, so I wasn't even aware that he was sick. We had a falling out over some commissions he owed me a few years ago and I quit trying deal with him and unwatched him. He really made me angry. Still, I got some very nice commissions from him prior to that, and nothing can take away my love of the art that I did get from him. He was a fine artist indeed!

As I recall he could be somewhat acidic at times, but I never had any sort of experience like that with him.

He was never acidic with me. Quite the contrary. He was always polite, but he just stopped coming through with the work he'd been paid for and it eventually led me to stop having anything to do with him. I'm not the only one who had problems with him. That's why he's got a lot of entries under 'artists beware'. Most I've seen had similar experiences to mine.

I'm glad to be able to do so. I'd like to think he would be pleased also.

I have several of his works that I'll rotate through. Some are of my characters and some are characters I adopted from him during his time as Marmalade Jane on Inkbunny. All show off his talent well.

It's always sad when one our passes.... His Artistic skills were Great and apparently he was well liked. After looking through his gallery and final postings i gather Cancer is what took him away?

I left a few words and condolences on his page and even decided to watch just in case his family comes on there.

I'm glad that you could at least find his art now. You were missing some great art! I didn't really know him personally, though we emailed back and forth about commissions sometimes. So I had some communications with him anyway.
