I want to do a fun project so help me design a creature by suggesting an animal! I’ll be picking three animals to combine in a random selection and the more suggestions the better c:

This is just going to be a small sketch project, so It’ll look something like these:

My aim for this isn’t to make a clear hybrid but to try and make a creature that could exist on its own. I want this critter to be kind of believable, so this is how I’m gonna structure it -

1. Base animal. The creature’s base species. So say if I get a dog, the creature will be canine or looking like it could have evolved from a canine. If it’s a mammal it won’t have feathered wings or insect legs or anything like that despite the other picked animals.
2. Secondary animal. I’ll be using this as inspiration for the shape of the creature. So if I get a whale, I’ll be making our dog like creature aquatic.
3. Third animal. Small details and colours/markings. Again, these will be limited by the base animal. So I won’t be giving mammals crazy bright colours (saturated blues and greens) or fish like scales. But say if I get a clown fish for the third pick, I would give our aquatic canine black and orange markings with white stripes. (But just markings for now as this is just going to be a sketch.)

Rules:
One prompt per person.
Humans are allowed as a prompt (we are animals after all)
Specific species and domestic breeds are allowed and encouraged. Just note that specific details and markings might be lost in the creature design.
Prehistoric and extinct animals are allowed.
No mythological creatures or creatures from existing ip’s.

I’ll pick via random number generator so its fair. Aiming to start this next week!
