Hello!
Many of you have shown interest in my character Max over the past months, and I am very thankful for this! ^_^ I actually am not used to have people be interested in a character of mine! So, my little blue lizard is very proud and honoured!
But as you know, Max is basically me in a fantasy setting, so let's say that tonight it's the lizard who got the phone and he will be the one answering your messages about his story, lore, what is canon and what isn't! ^_^

After all, they're always throwing away their lives for warfare, surely they can spare a couple towns worth of citizens for a good cause.
I keep the transformative stuff for stronger potions, special orders, or for people who really treat me poorly because they think they are superior to kobolds.
Are kobolds treated pretty much like everyone else?
Are there kobold holidays and traditions? If so what are they and does he observe any?
Do many kobolds go into alchemy or do they have all sorts of jobs?
What sort of living arrangements do they prefer?
2- It depends a lot of the place in fact. In my head, kobolds are tiny lizards who basically set themselves free from dragons a few decades/centuries ago and explored the world. They usually still live in small packs/clans, including in towns and cities, but are perceived by many humans as pest. This would change of course between the small isolated villages and bigger cities.
3- Yes in fact I've thought about some! ^^
I'd create a day of the Yosavaatch. An ancient, almost legendary creature, living in deep caves which was a rather huge predator for kobolds back in the ancient days. The reptiles could only get rid of "it" when they stayed together and teamed up to hunt the creature down. And since then it's a story for young kobolds to teach them why they're stronger in packs and why they shouldn't go alone unless they want to get eaten by the Yozavaatch.
I'd also come up with a day of the long sun where all lizards spend all day being lazy and sunbathing to welcome the summer days. Goes back to when the kobolds were working for free for dragons and would stay in their lairs for a long time. Eventually they were sun-deprived. So in the end, they started getting out a bit more especially when days were getting warmer. Dragons were not very happy about it. But kobolds told them there would be a day in year where they would stay outside all day to enjoy the warm sun and that they wouldn't work this day.
I would probably come with something very old fashioned about a day where a special sort of bugs' larvae hatches early in Spring after the cold winter. Ancient kobolds used to feast on them. Nowadays modern kobolds would find them gross, but the day is still celebrated! And so on
4- Kobolds can do many jobs. As there are not many human alchemists, kobold alchemists are pretty rare too
Now I wonder - do kobold scale colors change if they stay near a particular color dragon for a long time? For instance, if you were to stay near a red or god dragon long enough, would your scale colors eventually turn red or gold?
Also - do the berries for kobold wine come from places near where dragons dwell (some of their draconic essence infusing the berries that allow a kobold tf)?
What if you will meet me: a giant man (6,40 ft.) this big hammer, erupting lightning, with bulletproof clothes (see my featured submission)?
but its nice he is able to carry on and make new friends
Also, has he ever wanted to turn back, or he really enjoys this new self?
As for your other question, he actually isn't very interested in turning humans into kobolds, unless they ask him to do it, or temporarily, for fun!

Also, always hard finding good tasting healing potions. So many focus on the healing and overlook the flavours and how that impacts the product.

On that note, what kind of ingredients do you use in your potions? I'm assuming there are going to be some secrets (can't share the full recipe afterall) but any you can share for any aspiring alchemists?
