Not really, I spoke with him over notes to gain permission to use an image he colored for me to use it as the thumbnail for a story I wrote. But it went beyond just gaining permission, and he insisted he touch up the picture (well the cropped version I made to fit the story thumbnail limit) since it was an old piece and he felt like revamping it to the coloring and shading technique he had modernized for his style.
It was all free, too. He said he personally felt like revamping it and I declined and was fine with the drawing as is, but he still went out of his way to make the spruced up thumbnail. So I'm recommending him purely out of how nice he was to me, so I hope giving him recognition will return the kindness.

For sure dude, I'm interested on it! I mean, I have been doing commissions before but not really like a collab per se haha, sounds like something cool to try ~ and don't worry if it is lines or sketchy, I gotcha covered on that 👌
